‘BRING HOME ROQUE’

Palace press officer Usec. Claire Castro challenged former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque to go back to the Philippines on Monday, following his appearance in the Netherlands to support former president Rodrigo Duterte.

“Kasi ‘di ba ‘bring home FP Duterte,’ so siguro mas magandang isigaw po rin ng mga tao ‘bring home Roque,’” she said during a press briefing.

In a press conference, Roque announced that he would be filing an asylum application in the Netherlands. He is also requesting the court to acknowledge him as “ICC legal counsel.”

The House of Representatives ordered him to be detained after being cited in contempt during a congressional probe into offshore scam hubs or POGOs.
