@smharrington24 Agree D was great but Houston also missed a ton of open shots. It also really helped that Houston does not have any bigs that can shoot the 3 consistently which would have not allowed the Illini bigs to collapse into the paint as much

@ChiSportsTweetr Lou Henson was great for this program too BUT in 1996 I proudly led the ‘Lou’s gotta go’ chants in Assembly Hall since it was clear he could not take us to an NC. Kruger and Self built on that success.
