It was a good week.

A lot got accomplished, a few challenges got solved, and progress was made. I'm working tomorrow, but I'm already looking forward to some family time this weekend.

There’s just something about Memorial Day weekend and the Indianapolis 500 that feels uniquely American. Family, racing, cookouts, old memories, and a reminder to appreciate the people who sacrificed so we get to enjoy days like this. Hope everyone has a safe and peaceful weekend! ✌️

Speed decrease summary
• 24,000 mph → ~350 mph: Done mostly by the heat shield + atmosphere in ~10 minutes (hypersonic to subsonic).
• ~350 mph → ~150–200 mph: Drogue chutes (a few seconds to a minute).
• ~150 mph → 17–20 mph: Main parachutes (final ~1–2 minutes before hitting the water).
