The Association of Dental Technologists of Nigeria (ADTN) has rejected a proposed amendment to the law regulating dental technologists in the country, urging the National Assembly to suspend further legislative action on the bill.
In a press statement issued by the association and signed by its National President, Eyarefe O. Stephen, and the General Secretary, Comrade Haruna Jethro Joe, the professional body criticised House Bill No. HB.2704, which seeks to amend the Dental Technologists (Registration, Etc.) Act, Cap. D6, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004, particularly the composition of the board governing the Dental Technologists Registration Board of Nigeria (DTRBN).
