I know itβs become pretty cliche and cringey to talk about at this point but if youβre under like 25 I cannot stress enough how one time Obama wore a tan suit and people spent a week arguing over whether or not it was demeaning to the Oval Office and they were serious about it.
We talked to nearly 100 people about youth sports in New Jersey and found a predatory industry that is leaving parents broke, exhausted and wondering how the games of their childhood took over their adult lives. Our six-month investigation: https://t.co/plE3w618qt
@RyanJMoore4@CoachDonMeyer 1000%. You can learn amazing things that youβd like to incorporate as the leader (because theyβre incredibly successfully and match your values) OR things that you should never do once you take the seat (same mantra). BOTH are incredibly valuable.
Regardless of coaching or being in the private sector, @CoachDonMeyer lessons continue to ring true every dayβ¦
I remember him telling a former player that took his 1st job at the D1 Level, βRemember, you can always learn from the head coach. Learn what to do or what not to do.β
@RossDellenger Different place meaning he hates college football and wants to see it devoid of all meaning and differentiation from the NFL whatsoever? The spa and cocktails at Terranea are incredible but this is a bit much.
βIn my entire life, Iβve never met a selfish person that was happy, and Iβve never met an unselfish person that was unhappy.β
Love you Coach! @CoachDonMeyer
"Happy to carry the flag for all the managers, the GAs, the grunts, cause it's possible. It's tough but it's possible."
@MattNorlander with National Championship winning head coach Dusty May
Congratulations to @CoachDustyMay, Elliot Cadeau, and @UMichBBall on winning their first title since 1989! This team dominated the tournament from start to finish. Well deserved. Go Blue!
Cool story. Dusty May on why he wanted his son to be a manager
"I wanted him to do it because you learn to be 100% selfless. You learn that you can't have any ego if you want to make it in this business, & there's nothing that teaches humility better than being a student manager
Meta & Google have been found liable in a social media addiction lawsuit, with a jury finding them negligent in the design & operation of the platforms.
They have been ordered to pay $3 million in damages to the plaintiff, a 20-year-old woman who alleges she was addicted to their platforms as a child.
Per the broadcast, Olivia Reed Thyne has now officially surpassed Becky Hammon with the most points scored in a single season in the history of Colorado college basketball. 835 points and counting for Reed Thyne on the year.
Sending my best to Dash-O and Reedee! Two of the realest people in the coaching business. Best of luck as they enter the time of year where youβre playing to βEarn the right to be a TEAM just one day more.β Go Bears π»!

.@JamesTalarico: The only minority destroying America is the billionaires. Trans people are 1% of the population. Muslims are 1% of the population. Undocumented people are 1% of the population. We are focused on the wrong 1%.
Trans people aren't taking away our healthcare. Muslims aren't defunding our schools. Immigrants aren't cutting taxes for themselves and their rich friends. Itβs the billionaires and their puppet politicians.
The culture wars are a smokescreen. They want us looking left and right at our neighbors instead of looking up at them. The biggest divide in our politics is not left versus right, itβs top versus bottom.
Caller reacts to Bad Bunny's Halftime Show:
"You wouldn't ask an Italian opera singer to convert her songs into English. That's ridiculous. The most important thing he said at the end was God Bless America. It was a great performance, it was all love."
Though Iβm far away from the from the coaching world, itβs been illuminating that the older I get, the more @CoachDonMeyer maxims resonateβ¦today this rang through loudly:
βDoing the RIGHT things, for the RIGHT reasons, will win out in the end.β Love you, Coach! #Motives

Colorado Mesa's Reed Thyne broke the RMAC career scoring record on Saturday and, in doing so, also became the first RMAC women's basketball athlete to post both 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds during their career.
She is the 48th NCAA Division II women's basketball player of the 2,000-point/1,000-rebound club!
