MrBeast contestant Jabari Brown, who won a private plane from MrBeast's video, just got arrested in Paraguay for smuggling 261 kilograms of marijuana in a private plane.
I'm going to say what most of us already know.
People like these are the reason why the "inauthentic content" problem seems bigger than it actually is, and why most of it is bullshit.
Let's take a look at this post.
Context: I'm only responding to this because this "narrative" is getting out of hand, and there's maybe 1 out of 1,000 channels like this that genuinely didn't deserve to get demonetized.
Let's get into it.
The channel is an IShowSpeed clipping channel, but the public message?
Claim #1: Every single video starts with MY idea, story build-up by ME, clips cut & arranged by ME.
You're still using another person's content in order to achieve these. You didn't pay for his flights, you didn't pay for his production staff. I mean, at least show us your license to use his content. Just because you're editing the clips, whether you use AI or not, doesn't mean that you suddenly possess the rights to this footage.
On top of that, just putting the "Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976" paragraph in your description, which all of these channels seem to do, doesn't mean that you're actually creating content which falls under fair use.
Claim #2: I didn't start LightMoviesX for the money. I started it because it's my passion.
What passion are we talking about here? A passion to share Speed's content? If that was the sole reason why you're doing this, you wouldn't be complaining about monetization. You're literally complaining about being demonetized, which is literally your ability to generate money through other people's content.
Claim #3: I'm not asking for special treatment. I'm just asking for ONE real human to actually look at my channel and my Appeal Video.
You are asking for special treatment, just like hundreds of others trying to guilt trip YouTube into giving you a pass. You're a problem because it's people like you that take up YouTube's time, which needs to go towards creators who actually deserve to get a proper appeal process.
Do better.

I personally think the best YouTube strategists are the ones that have made it work in all kinds of niches.
A lot of people claim to “understand” YouTube, I personally think you don’t understand YouTube unless you can jump into any niche and make it work, you understand your niche, not YouTube as a whole.
Take me for example, I thought my YouTube knowledge is pretty good, but ask me how to ideate, package and script a Roblox video? Would probably take me months to figure out, and reaching out to gaming strategists to understand it haha.
It’s not actually my YouTube knowledge that is pretty good, it’s my dog niche knowledge within YouTube that is pretty good.
Fun fact: I actually got turned down by some YT strategists when I was looking for one, because they “didn’t think they could help me”. In other words, the dog niche isn’t mainstream and I have no clue how to tackle it
@RoninJoey So funny to see non-Spanish speakers argue this video based on their 7th grade Spanish class and Google Translate. 😂. Fun fact: the same way North Americans make grammatical mistakes in English all the time, we do in Spanish. It’s still 100% clear what she meant.
@soyrosalinn Marvel tiene 5 años yendo de mal en peor 😂. No he visto ninguna de esas, pero es difícil entender como hay esa expectativa de que Marvel will suddenly fix their nonsense.
This is by far the hardest thing to understand for creators (It was hard for me as well), and the hardest one to explain to newer creators (happens to me daily). “The algorithm” isn’t there for you when you create. Is there for you when you consume.
Suggested videos sometimes make creators think the system doesn’t understand their audience. But the truth is, they’re about the viewer not the creator:
If you click on a tech video on desktop and start watching it, then look at the sidebar of suggested videos, some will typically be from the same creator, some on the same tech topic but from different creators, and some on different topics based on other things you’ve enjoyed recently, maybe cooking or football
If you then click on the cooking video, the creator of that video will see that it was suggested from a tech video, something unrelated to their video
Suggested is based on what the viewer likes to watch not what the current video creator makes, and most people like to watch a variety. So most creators will see that variety in analytics
So it’s not the algorithm suggesting videos unrelated to yours. It’s the algorithm suggesting videos related to the interests of the person viewing
