@shanselman It’s so obnoxious. But especially when being good at problem solving and deep thinking about the problem at hand makes these new tools so great to work with. Cheat code has always been to be good.
@bradwestfall Every large organization is going to have some part of its funds misappropriated and used badly. But this is throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Almost literally as it will actually kill children.
@vyrotek I think it’s a skill that needs to be honed/practiced. Back in the day when I worked in customer service roles all the time, I was great at remembering names and details of customers. Now after 20 years of dev work, I can’t even remember the names of half the people I work with.
@mattpocockuk I was already following, but I very much like the tips. Behind a corporate firewall and trying to get my team to embrace some newness circa last year and your tips are energizing me even if I can’t fully utilize them.
@vyrotek@JetBrainsRider Just canceled my JetBrains license. Was a tough call since I spend all day at work in IntelliJ, but VScode has been good enough for me recently. Was always impressed with Rider though. Wish I could go back to .NET
