We are mostly made up of oxygen & hydrogen (water, 75%), carbon (18%), nitrogen (3%), then the rest is pretty much minerals, mostly calcium & phosphorus in terms of weight.
You need to be sweating minimum 3x/week. Skin is a legit detox pathway. Sweat carries out heavy metals, BPA, phtalates, and other pollutants. Some potentially in higher concentrations than blood or urine.
Your liver and kidneys can only detox so much. Too much toxic burden and they can start recirculating. Sweat takes a major burden off of these organs.
Sweating aside, the cardiovascular adaptations, mood boosts, metabolic enhancement, and hormetic stress adaptation are all noticeable benefits from heat shock.
3 times a week is the floor for compounding.

Camel milk is the most underrated dairy source
- About 30% of the lactose of cow milk
- Higher in omega-3 and short chain fats
- Digestible A2 casein (similar to goat)
- More calcium, iron, and vitamin C
- Near 1:1 Ca/P ratio
- 30-65% of the thiamine RDI per 100ml
An interesting point many people don't think about is where absorption of these compounds occurs in the gut
Dietary butyrate or butyrate supplements will be absorbed in the upper intestine, meaning anti-inflammatory impacts on the colon and microbiome changes won't occur
When you eat fiber (aka indigestible complex carbs) it travels to your colon and butyrate is released via bacterial fermentation
Significantly different effects
I do my best to avoid micro plastics, but when it comes to metals versus plastics, I don’t give a fuck about plastics.
Tip of the iceberg.
Much much much worse things for you than plastic.
Just a huge abundance of plastics.
Stop being a nicherat and escape the hyperspecialization. Even if your work has to be very narrow and focused, you'll benefit immensely from dipping your toes in every pool of human knowledge.
Everyone should learn a little bit of calculus. Everyone should know how to draw a simple figure. Everyone should know how to play a tune on the piano. Everyone should try to write a short story. Everyone should memorize a short poem.
This is especially true for things that don't come easy to you. We made the world so rich; it'd be a shame if you never participated in it.
Boil your vegetables and starches. It’s generally a lot easier to digest than pan cooked and there are much fewer AGEs (advanced glycation end products) which are harmful in excess.

Was lucky enough to experience this at 12yo after years of chronic pain and various symptoms. Got me hooked on trying new things and learning how to experiment and think critically.
You have to move a hundred tons of dirt to find an oz of gold sometimes.
Worth it.
Its addictive when you finally hit on something (diet, supplement, lifestyle change, etc.) that makes you feel drastically healthier.
Once that door opens, the desire to learn more and share the benefits with other people only grows.
Most people would be shocked if they realized how many of their negative emotional states like depression, anxiety, and irritability are downstream of physical issues like low blood sugar, constipation, histamine/inflammation, and poor quality sleep
I'll share a story from my own life that illustrates this:
In my early 20's when I first got into nutrition I was eating plant-based vegan/vegetarian and working at a vegan "burger" restaurant
It was whole food based and better quality than a lot of more processed options, but over time I noticed a consistent pattern
I got one free shift meal per day, and around one hour after eating it I would consistently experience a bout of straight up suicidal depression and nihilistic thoughts
I'm not someone who's prone to this usually, so it made me think something was VERY wrong, and over time I noticed that it only occurred when I would eat something off of the grill or fryer...
It's actually fascinating that a good chunk of people would rather be right within the confinements of an abstract closed loop than being right in real life. It explains so much...
Mineral balancing is so tightly woven into all levels of who we are, it’s hard to get across to those who havnt experienced it for a while.
It’s not shiny. It’s not a quick fix. It’s the real work.
Mineral balancing is the work.
Do it for long enough and it seems like dormant or underfunctioning brain regions start to wake up.
You just do the things you need to do instead of avoiding them, distracting yourself, etc…
But if the deep tissues get too saturated - just like if we avoid the things that really need to be done - it spills over. In this case as chronic issues.
