Truth is, Nigerians are bullies.
We only realize what bully means when it's between a rich person and a poor person then we automatically start supporting the poor because majority of us are poor, so out of jealousy, we begin the voice out that it's bully.
But within us, poor to poor... we do ourself dirty on the norm without even considering it

Honestly, when I saw the video, I couldn’t laugh. I just felt pity.

I found myself wondering about the rough roads she must have walked, the nights she may have cried herself to sleep, worrying about how to pay school fees and other expenses.

I thought about the days she might have gone hungry simply because there wasn’t enough money for food.

Yet, despite it all, she made it to graduation.

Maybe she just wanted to feel beautiful, to feel included like everyone else. She found that wig, wore it with confidence, and hoped to be seen.

She was noticed..but sadly, not in the way she imagined. Instead of celebrating her achievement, the internet turned her into a joke.

I didn’t find it funny. I found it heartbreaking.

None of us knows the battles she fought to get to that graduation stage. The patches in that wig may tell a story of years of struggle, sacrifice, and resilience.

I sincerely hope this marks the end of those difficult days and the beginning of better ones. I hope she finds favour in the labour market, succeeds beyond expectations, and one day wears any wig she chooses..not because she has to prove anything, but because life has finally been kind to her.

I studied architecture before moving fully into design, and I still consider architecture school one of the best foundations a creative can have.

It taught me ideation, process, problem-solving and how to balance aesthetics, function, human behaviour and real constraints.

It also produces some of the most versatile creatives I know. Many have moved into music, fashion, film, photography, design or business, but the training remains visible in how they think.

Architecture school does not only train people to design buildings. At its best, it trains you to take an unclear problem and develop a coherent response.

I did 14 months of house job in Lagos without pay.

When we went on strike, they paid 8 months and reported us to MDCN.

The hospital also refused to sign me off.

My NYSC was delayed by 7 months.

I worked & saved for 7 years, wrote my exams, and relocated to the UK.

6 months salary in the UK was more than ALL my salaries in Nigeria COMBINED.

This is a young medical doctor called Dr Innocent. He’s working as a house officer at the Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital in Calabar, Cross River State.

Dr Innocent and his other doctor colleagues who are also house officers have NOT been paid for 290 days.

Yes you read that right.
A whole 290 days of working as a medical doctor with ZERO pay. That’s about 10 months work with NO pay.

According to Dr Innocent,
The Ministry of Defence has refused to pay their salaries for no reason. This young medical doctors are being worked like slaves while receiving ZERO pay.

They have nobody to speak for them.
They have nobody to fight for them.
They are suffering and dying in silence.
