As Kenya approaches another campaign and electioneering period, we believe there is an urgent need to shift the mindset of young riders from being used as instruments of violence and destruction to becoming peace ambassadors.

We advocate for peaceful coexistence between bodaboda riders, motorists, pedestrians, and other members of the community. We are particularly concerned about violence that sometimes occurs following road accidents and the involvement of some riders in political activities -

The fight against drugs and substances remains a collective responsibility for everyone but we can not sit and watch high level harassment and convictions of innocent bodaboda deliveries who otherwise are not allowed by law to open a customer's package!

This is Japhet Okinda a rider from Kibra Sarang'ombe ward he got involved in an accident for about a week now and he's supposed to be taken in for a surgery!
So this guy has a 18000 bike loan balance with @MogoKenya and they have dispatched their recover team to take the bike!

We successfully conducted a capacity-building session for bodaboda riders in Kibra Subcounty.
The program, facilitated by the APDK, focused on the importance of peaceful coexistence among the riders and the wider community, including other motorists with whom they share the road
