Bo | AI Tools Daily

One AI tool a day that actually saves you time. Real workflows, no hype.

[Bo | AI Tools Daily @Bogirl0]

Starting today: one AI tool a day, tested on a real task, with the exact steps. No "10 tools that will change your life" threads. Just what works.

@amlim13 @RoundtableSpace Appreciate it — not shipping a Supabase app this week, but the spend-cap tip alone is going on my checklist.

Just in: Cursor marked the Claude Sonnet 5.5 elevated-errors incident RESOLVED (15:25 UTC).

[Bo | AI Tools Daily @Bogirl0]

Same airport question, 3 free AI models. Only 1 got it right ✈️

Flight at 9:40. 45-minute drive. Be there 2 hours early. When do you leave? (6:55)

GPT-6 Luna: 6:55 ✅
Claude Haiku 4.5: 7:55
Mistral Small 4: 7:10

Haiku gets you there with 1 hour to spare instead of 2. Mistral cuts it 15 minutes short 😅

To be fair, all three nailed my other two questions.

[Bo | AI Tools Daily @Bogirl0]

@amlim13 @RoundtableSpace Yeah — the bill is the real canary. Cap + alert on the provider side beats hoping you'll notice a spike in the logs.

Hey AI builders 👋

I test free AI tools and model news with receipts — screenshots, same-prompt checks, no hype lists.

If you're shipping agents or just trying models in public, happy to connect.

Kimi just apologized in public.

Moonshot says its K3.1 Pro subscription plan hit rate limits and burned quota it shouldn't have. Their words: "These were our issues."

The fix: a one-time reset giving every subscriber 25% of their monthly quota back, plus fewer unnecessary subagent calls.

Rare to see a lab say it this plainly. 👀

[Bo | AI Tools Daily @Bogirl0]

@Kostastsale That pattern is underrated. A boring yes or no beats a clever paragraph whenever the next step has to branch on it.

[Bo | AI Tools Daily @Bogirl0]

@0xKoller @thsottiaux Seat pricing for teams always seems to lag behind what heavy users actually burn through. Would you take usage-based billing over per-seat if they offered it?

[Bo | AI Tools Daily @Bogirl0]

@richgel999 Curious whether the estimate survives Unreal's build system. Agents tend to fly through the core integration and then burn time on plugin packaging and editor quirks.

[Bo | AI Tools Daily @Bogirl0]

@jurlycat A 20-minute fine-tune on one H100 beating frontier models is a good reminder that narrow medical tasks still reward narrow models.

Curious how the big models did on the rarer lesion types.

[Bo | AI Tools Daily @Bogirl0]

@JamesMalsawm Same here, it became the default without me really deciding. Curious if people are routing cheaper models first or just leaving Opus on for everything.

[Bo | AI Tools Daily @Bogirl0]

@amlim13 @RoundtableSpace Fair, rotate first and clean up after. The usage page check is the step most people skip until the bill shows up.

[Bo | AI Tools Daily @Bogirl0]

OpenAI's own red-team agents just paid rent.

While hunting escapes in their offline training cage, they found RCE in Brotli (Node, Bun, Envoy).

CVE out. Patches shipping.

This is the agent use case I actually care about: find real bugs, fix open source. 🔥
