Yesterday was a big day for the North American Charging Standard!

First, the @SAEIntl officially put the "S" in NACS by confirming it as a new standard: SAE J3400.

This standardization brings more than just a better connector. There are a variety of improvements over the previous standards and will help with advancing EV adoption in North America.

Second, one of the last major holdouts, @VWGroup, announced that its Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche and Scout Motors brands will be adopting NACS in North America beginning in 2025. This is great news for their customers and will provide them with a reliable and widely available DC fast-charging network.
