Tjo, I have been running since 2005 and have multiple running groups for different goals in Johannesburg. I do not know a SINGLE runner who wakes up at 4:30/5am to train just so they can meet a man or woman. I don't think that person understands what it takes to do long distance running.

I love running friendships and groups. We are like siblings who look out for each other.
