Sunday I’m sitting down with the legendary Anousheh Ansari from @xprize to talk about how we’re going from a space industry to a space economy. #SXSW2024
We, at the Charles F. Bolden Group, wish to note the passing of trailblazer and astronaut, ADM Richard Truly, 9th Administrator of the NASA. Thank you for your vision, leadership, and mentorship. Godspeed, Sir!

"I'm an ordinary guy who had an opportunity to do extraordinary things."
Before becoming the first Black NASA administrator, Maj. Gen. Charlie Bolden was a Marine aviator, test pilot, and astronaut. Discover his inspiring story: https://t.co/BNdlsByscP #BlackHistoryMonth
Space exploration is hard. Space exploration is expensive. It takes commitment and perseverance to advance humanity’s expansion to the stars. Kudos to @SpaceX. What you’ve done, and are doing, is trailblazing incarnate!
Quite extraordinary to watch two HoF astronauts, “mutt and Jeff” their way through a story about split second decision making and precision. Their humility is one of their many exceptional attributes as leaders and explorers.
Many of the first astronauts were test pilots, which is the path I followed 30 years ago, but that's no longer the case. Privatizing spaceflight will change much of the nature of activities of astronauts and we will likely see a lot of diversity to meet the new needs.
Celebrated pilot, journalist, and filmmaker Miles O'Brien will host four of NASA's most accomplished astronauts for a conversation from the unique perspective of the "driver's seat" of the space shuttle.

U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Michael E. Langley was promoted to the rank of General today in a ceremony at Marine Corps Barracks Washington. The 38th Commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. David H. Berger, was the promoting officer and delivered remarks.
One of the most consequential characters in humanity’s quest to conquer the stars was someone whose feet were firmly planted on the ground, but whose persona transcended the limits of earth. She challenged the orthodoxy and inspired generations to follow. @NichelleIsUhura RIP
Go listen as @zacharykarabell and @iamche71 have a fun convo, facilitated by Emma Varvaloucas, on what’s coming for humanity…here’s a hint: it’s out of this world!🤣https://t.co/YeC3S2CYex
