Fort Portal, thank you for how you received our King๐๏ธ
People stood on that road from Kyegegwa to Karuziika for hours just to see him pass one last time.
Tooro has always been a kingdom of pure souls, calm and always collected people, and you showed it today when it was hardest.
We stand with you๐๐บ๐ฌ

His Majesty Rukirabasaija Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV @KingOyoOfficial was crowned at three years old and gave Tooro thirty one years of his life.
My condolences to the Royal Family, to the Batooro and to the whole country.
Omukama Atulize.
When I grow up I don't want to be carrying my own cases and tripods. I want an assistant who travels with me fulltime
Preferably on the client's budget๐
Iโm still moving around the Kenyan coast and Iโve met like 8 Wanjirus in two days. Online? Wanjirus everywhere. My phone is now 40% Wanjiru, in Nairobi I met 3 Wanjirus
Kenyans, be honest with me - Is Wanjiru a name or a population?๐
Someone explain how this name works before I leave this country๐ฐ๐ช๐
And just like that, Museum of Illusions Nairobi, ticked off the 2026 bucket list๐โค๏ธ๐ฐ๐ช
Your eyes will lie to you in over 60 ways - Rooms that flip you upside down, holograms, illusions that make no sense until they do.
Nairobi now sits alongside New York, Paris and Dubai in hosting this.

If youโve been, which illusion broke your brain?
Which destinations are you visiting this year?
I believe you cannot love what you've never seen. You cannot defend what you've never touched. And you cannot tell the world your country is beautiful on rumors.
Go out there and explore this beautiful world God gave us๐โค๏ธ
Last week the Uganda Tourism Association put young entrepreneurs and creators in the same room as the giants of this industry and honoured us on the same stage.
One night, twelve honourees. Lifetime achievement awards for the people who built this industry, and the Rhino2 Award for two under 30 telling Ugandaโs story to the world - I got to be one of them.
That matters more than the trophy or the award. When an industry makes space for its under 30s, it is planning for its future.
To everyone who has supported Back to the Source - The Nile, you are in this award, we postponed the Arena Mall Screening because of understandable reasons, we are back and announcements will come soon.
Thank you Uganda Tourism Association for the recognition in promoting Uganda together.
The work continues.
I went back to the Rwenzoris with two questions
1. Why are so few Ugandans climbing their own mountain?
2. What has changed since 2020 and how bad is it really?
The first answer led me somewhere uncomfortable. The second answer I saw with my own eyes.
Weโll get into the details when this story is ready๐ฅ

I returned to observe what we are losing and how long we have left with the permanent glaciers.
The Rwenzoris are melting, quietly, faster than most people know.
In 1906 - 6.5kmยฒ of glacier ice.
Today - less than 1km ยฒ.
We have so far lost like 3 permanent glaciers since I last visited in 2020.
