2025 State Homeland Security Grant Program Accepting Applications (Updated 8/13/25)
The Indiana Department of Homeland Security is accepting applications for the FFY2025 State Homeland Security Program (SHSP). The federal Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) linked below provides full details about the grant. Indiana applications are due to [email protected] by 5 p.m. ET on Sept. 24.

On July 28, 2025, FEMA released the FY2025 State Homeland Security Grant Program (SHSP) Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), which provides program guidance for this year’s SHSP grant. Local Indiana applications are NOT due by Aug. 11, which is listed in the NOFO.  Learn more

The IDHS Grants Section will host a webinar at 10:30 a.m. ET on Thursday, Aug. 21, to explain the grant process and application. Interested applicants should register by noon ET on Wednesday, Aug. 20. A link to join the webinar will be provided after registering.
