The campaign looks like a mess narrative wise, nothing really getting my attention there, Multiplayer looks same same but different & the zombies just looks and feels like Cod Mobile garbage. I really don't know what they're doing with the whole Takeo VA situation. I'm done tbh with cod.
After Reckoning and the controversy around the Aether Blade EE being time gated, AI art and voices, the issues with the Voice Actors, etc. I think Activision really needs to change internally, This game will be a train wreck on release. Not Treyarch's fault, they're doing what they can under the immense pressure by the sounds of it and I know the individual people there are passionate af, I think Activision is the root of the issues and there really needs to be some change for the better on their end of the stick.
I have spent 5-6 days straight looking for this, sleepless nights, hours on call, trying EVERYTHING to get this damn easter egg solved, made a master document, hundreds of community members looking for it. For it to be locked behind a gated event weeks after map launch.
It's absolutely ridiculous. Either lock all the steps related behind the event or don't gate it at all, You made the mistake by having part of the easter egg accessible for it to be unsolvable unless you use an illegitimate tool to give yourself the field upgrade.
I used to have faith in you Activision, but clearly you are squeezing your devs over at Treyarch to work on your games and pump them out of everything they are worth for battle passes, skins and dogshit crossover events that make no sense to the games theme so you can keep your fat cats wallets full.
I know the devs at Treyarch probably want to say A LOT and to reach out to the community and apologise for the position they have been put in. I know there's people there who genuinely care about Zombies and the people there crunching overtime who are doing their best to make the fans happy, but sadly the forces that be from Activision always taint their hard work, dedication, passion and creativity with their bullshit.
I usually am a defender of Call of Duty, especially Zombies, and I have usually put aside the stuff with AI art, the voice actors controversy, the stupid skins etc because I played devils advocate and thought that things would get better and it was growing pains etc.
But now, I am done with COD. I am uninstalling BO6, I am not going to be playing BO7 or anything else Call of Duty until those pricks in charge of those decisions are gone, they change their clown act or until Activision is no longer in control of the franchise.
To many of you who might see this and think I am being childish or that I am overreacting, I have been a fan of zombies for a long long time, since I was a kid. I love cracking the puzzles and easter eggs, its part of my childhood ever since BO1 & W@W, its something I am passionate about and I love that buzz of being with likeminded people who are also passionate about it and want to figure it out. To spread that knowledge to the other fans to help them enjoy their game sessions and to enjoy the cool secrets they wouldn't have known otherwise.
How can you call yourselves Activision, if you actively don't use your fucking vision and see what you're doing to beloved fans and the people who are paying your bills, expensive houses, luxury lifestyle & keeping your games & brand alive. Treyarch devs deserves better, the fans deserve better, especially the thousands of dedicated and passionate fans who spend so much time on your games

Time gating a side easter egg until weeks after the map launched is the biggest disrespect to players' time, Treyarch. I don't even have the words to express my disappointment.
I've spent countless hours hunting this since release & so have many others...
History shows us that the Battlefront community can make things happen when we band together at the right moment.
That moment is upon us again.
Let the galaxy hear our hunger for Battlefront 3.
@ZoneXbez You don't need to shoot it, just look at it ADS. Picking up items off the floor like grenades, salvage, the aether lanterns, killing a zombie can trigger the jumpscare.
One audio cue says "I see how it works now"
@ZoneXbez Hey Zone, I've found something weird with the jumpscare statues in The Tomb map but I've yet to solve it. I tried posting what I found on Reddit but no luck. Can you help?
@ZoneXbez Yes so, there's 3 locations I've seen
- On top of Quick Revive
- Outside the map near Deadshot
- Outside the map near the Mystery Box near Deadshot
Audio cues play everywhere on the map and audio panning stays the same even if you turn around. Jumpscare seems to reset the statue
