❤️ Even as their chicks grow, mothers shield them under their wings at night safeguarding them from harm.

Male chicks are ground up alive because they don't lay eggs. This includes free-range and RSPCA assured eggs.

Thank you to everyone who joined our vigil on Monday <3

The slaughterhouse was closed but we were still able to raise awareness of its exsistence.

We had lots of support with 3 people offering to buy us coffee and someone saying they would like to join us in the future. :)

Today we joined the Cube of Truth in Bolton ❤️

One lady in particular was horrified by what happens inside UK farms and slaughterhouses and was keen to adopt a vegan lifestyle. ❤️

Others also vowed to learn more about veganism and possibly give it a try!
