ZANU PF:
~ Took away HQ, funding, assets, staff, structures – EVERYTHING.
~ CCC had to start a NEW MOVEMENT from SCRATCH, barely 1 1/2 years ago.
~ ZANU created measures to impede CCC ability to raise funds or operate.

SENATE:
ZANU - 33 seats
CCC - 27 seats

ZANU PF:
~ banned opposition meetings/rallies
~ intimidated, abducted, jailed and tortured activists and supporters
~ mobilized ENTIRE police, military, intelligence and judiciary against opposition
~ conducted a partisan delimitation exercise that redrew constituencies to favor ZANU
~ ZEC (a department of ZANU PF) REFUSED to carry out a sufficient voter education exercise, REFUSED to carry out a sufficient voter REGISTRATION exercise, REFUSED to address complaints and refused to release voters roll.

PARLIAMENT:
ZANU - 176 seats
CCC – 103 seats

MNANGAGWA:
~ ED spent US$240 million + of personal, looted cash on election bribes, crowds and drones
~ ED & ZANU used state funding and state assets and civil servants on Party campaigns
~ ED & ZANU received additional EXTERNAL funding, tech and assets from international cartels and rogue Regimes
~ ED & ZANU attempted to harm President Chamisa on several occasions
~ ED & ZANU sent FAZ to intimidate rural and urban voters, up to and including election day
~ ED & ZANU/ZEC suppressed urban votes by not producing ballot papers on time, ZANU/ZEC manipulated structure & appearance of ballot papers.

The internet service provider Star-link has internet speeds which are 3 times faster than what we have in Zimbabwe.

It hasn’t been licensed yet in Zimbabwe.

When it is licensed, it will cost US$449 to buy the kit and a monthly subscription fee of around US$50.

6 African countries have licenses Star-link including Mozambique and Zambia.

If you buy the kit in Zambia, the monthly cost will be US$150 because it will be a roaming package.

What stands between you having access to a cheaper US$50 package is the Government and the internet companies that are lobbying Government not to give Star-link a license.

Star-link will reduce the cost of doing business significantly in Zimbabwe and will allow many rural areas to be connected to the internet because it doesn’t come with wires, it is just a small kit which you put together yourself.

Look at Star-link as a mobile phone and the internet we have in Zimbabwe as a landline phone.

Will Zimbabwe lag behind as the rest of the world gets connected to a more reliable and faster internet service which doesn’t need digging or engineers coming to your home?

When Mwai Kibaki was president, there was a man called Andrew Mwangura of the Seafarers Association.

He was a source of information for piracy activity in Somali waters. In 2008 he was the first to report that a hijacked ship Faina contained weaponry, including battle tanks meant for South Sudan, not for Kenya, as part of a secret arms deal. South Sudan was facing an arms embargo and Kibaki’s government was helping South Sudan skirt the sanctions. That story embarrassed the Kenyan Government. The government even paid a ransom to the pirates to release that ship. For blowing the whistle, Mwangura was arrested and detained in Mombasa for possession of bhang worth 200 shillings. The government planted drugs on him to discredit and silence him. Those fake charges silenced Mwangura for awhile.

Same play book has been used on Pauline Njoroge. Pauline’s arrest has nothing to do with any drug possession but her vocal criticism of Ruto’s government. @paulinenjoroge arrest is political. #FreePaulineNjoroge

The Government of Zimbabwe has issued a Statutory Instrument with new registration fees for businesses and more.
Everything is priced in US Dollars.

This demonstrates that the Zimbabwean Government has no faith in its own local currency.

Why does President Mnangagwa expect a stable Zim Dollar when his government is rejecting it, and pricing Government services in US Dollars?

It is common sense isn’t it?
But common sense is not common in this regime!

Until the Government starts valuing its own currency, and using it as the first currency of choice, the US Dollar will remain King!

When I buy a car in London and ship it to Zimbabwe, I expect a serious Government that values its own local currency to demand customs duty in Zim Dollars!

If it demands US Dollars, the local currency will collapse.

It is a blessing to be alive today,it is a blessing to know that l am there for a purpose,l have seen a lot in my life,the ups and downs.I have shared many special moments with very special people.

I have survived road accidents which were near misses on my life,l have survived very dangerous physical attacks by adversaries in politics,survived criminal muggings too,survived heartbreaks.

Today marks exactly ONE year since you joined the ancestors Musaigwa.

The pain has not lessened with the passage of time, thankfully your legacy makes us smile when we think of you.

I got to know that you were terminally ill after my Geneva speech on the state of healthcare in Zimbabwe.

You phoned me to congratulate me on what you called a “…bold speech with precise clarity”, then you told me that I had touched on a condition you were struggling with.

You never sought pity, you continued working for the country, writing and helping us understand issues knowing very well that your days were now literally numbered.

You are the epitome of selflessness that many of us must learn to have, you espoused patriotism like we have never seen before in the intellectual realms.

You did what you did without getting a penny, yet you carried on doing it every week.

My dear friend Alex, I miss you so much, but as I told you when we last spoke, I will continue doing my best within my competence.
