Jack Lowden as Collins in Dunkirk (2017).
One of the most underrated actors working today, I hope he gets the recognition he deserves by becoming the next Bond.
The gymnasium speech in Oppenheimer gets more unsettling every time I watch it. Everyone is celebrating, but Oppenheimer can barely hear them anymore. The stomping feet, the distorted faces, the sudden scream. Nolan turns a victory speech into a nightmare.
Jack Lowden's career is finally taking off and he may soon be the new James Bond. Don't forget it was Christopher Nolan who revealed him to the general public by casting him in Dunkirk.
The Dark Knight Rises (2012) gets better every time I revisit it. Beneath the spectacle, it's a story about a man who's lost his purpose and has to find a reason to live again. I love how Nolan brings Bruce Wayne's journey full circle.
Maybe the greatest feat in global box office history. A mythological film that's also rated R, I'd have been satisfied with 'just' 500 million. Never bet against Nolan.
Bane’s first appearance in The Dark Knight Rises immediately establishes how dangerous he is. He begins the scene as a hooded prisoner and ends it dismantling a CIA operation in mid-air.
Neil’s introduction in Tenet is brilliantly understated. He walks into the story like a stranger, yet the tiny details in his first conversation with the Protagonist only become meaningful much later.
