28 czerwca 1935 | Niemiecki minister sprawiedliwości Franz Gürtner znowelizował paragrafy 175 i 175a kodeksu karnego III Rzeszy, uznając każdy homoseksualny czyn mężczyzn za przestępstwo.

Częściowo zachowane materiały archiwalne zawierają informacje o co najmniej 77 więźniach Auschwitz, których uwięzienie zostało określone jako wynikające z §175. Niektórzy więźniowie skazani na podstawie tego paragrafu byli jednak rejestrowani w obozie w innych kategoriach, takich jak więźniowie polityczni, aspołeczni lub kryminalni.

Niemiecki badacz Rainer Hoffschildt, korzystając z różnych źródeł, w tym archiwów niemieckich, oszacował łączną liczbę więźniów §175 w Auschwitz na co najmniej 136.

Spośród 136 więźniów §175 osadzonych w KL Auschwitz co najmniej 66 zostało zabitych. Kolejnych 11 zginęło po przeniesieniu do innych obozów. Wiadomo, że 32 przeżyło, natomiast los 24 pozostaje nieznany. Najprawdopodobniej nie przeżyli oni wojny. Jeden wyzwolony więzień, Anton Breuer (nr 62855), zmarł 15 kwietnia 1945 r. w szpitalu Polskiego Czerwonego Krzyża w Oświęcimiu.

Zdecydowana większość tych więźniów była narodowości niemieckiej. Co najmniej 14 było pochodzenia żydowskiego i pochodziło z tzw. Starej Rzeszy. Jeden więzień osadzony w KL Auschwitz na podstawie §175 był najprawdopodobniej pochodzenia polskiego.

Reform UK told the BBC that he paid in cash for his £1.4m house in Surrey with his “I’m a Celebrity” fee from ITV and not with the £5m gift from crypto billionaire Christopher Harborne - which Farage says was to provide him with security (physical, not financial). But the ITV “Celeb” fee was £1.5m, which would be £825,000 after tax, for a top-rate taxpayer like Farage. That’s £575,000 less than the price of the house.

And even if the fee was paid into his “Thorn in the side” media company rather than directly to him, it would still be taxable, one way or another
