There is a world beyond academia.
@AcademicChatter I usually get so many business cards after conferences. A great way to help you remember is to write a little something about them on the back of the card. Also, don't forget to send them an email after the conference or add them on LinkedIn.
@AcademicChatter After the talks/ poster sessions, don't hide in your hotel room. Network, attend social events, and meet as many people as you can! Invite them to your presentation and give them your business cards. This is a great way to make connections in your field!
