People will do you so wrong, and then expect time to heal you enough to have a neutral view towards them. And if you aren’t neutral, they take that as you being stuck on the situation, bitter, unable to move on or still emotionally consumed by what happened, when in reality, you can move on from a situation and still maintain the same opinion of somebody that their behaviour caused you to form.
It's Friday
I'm not pregnant
I'm not begging a man to be nice to me
December is 3 months away
I'm not typing a paragraph to anybody's son begging for love
And pampers is not a part of my monthly budget
Life's good 🥂
There's nothing louder than the silence between two people who love each other but ended things because one of them didn't have the capacity to choose the other. So the other had to choose themselves, even though they didn't want to leave.
not mad, just disappointed because i told you multiple times how i feel about those things and you still choose to do the things i told you that affect me most.
I love the idea of restoration after loss.
Meeting the new people who are about to love you and they actually love you.
Friendship and girlhood again after friendship break ups.
I love feeling like we’re on the up again and life starts feeling amazing again.
falling out of love is one thing but slowly realizing your friend isn't a good person/not in alignment with you and needs to be let go is a pain that isn't talked about enough
may you learn to stop apologizing for the shape you’re taking just because it doesn’t fit the box they try to put you in. allow yourself to be unrecognizable to the people who only knew the old you. may you become so fully yourself that even the mirror has to do a double take.
people lack accountability, then be like “you could've just talked to me”. no, i couldn't. you don't listen. you deflect. you gaslight. you make me feel like i'm the problem for bringing it up. so no, i stayed silent to protect my peace, not because i didn't want to fix.
You cannot repair a relationship with someone who insists the real problem is always your reaction, never their behavior. They focus on how you spoke, how loud you got, or how emotional you became, while completely ignoring the disrespect, neglect, or hurtful actions that caused your response in the first place. This pattern turns every conflict into your fault. It blocks any chance of genuine healing. Real progress in a relationship requires accountability from both sides.
