Exactly 15 years ago @Gamesquidable and i released The Binding of isaac on steam!
its crazy its been 15 years and there are still so many of you playing the game regularly.
thanks for turning such a weird, personal and depressing game into a classic! <3
So much of cinema's power comes from believing that theres another human mind on the other side of the screen conversing with you. Someone who made hundereds small, big, deliberate, specific choices in every single frame.
The tragedy of AI art isn't even that it looks bad, it's that it forces you to become a skeptic. The moment you start wondering if a gesture, a certain pacing, a duration of pause was intentional or just a program hallucinating, calculating probabilities,...the immersion dies, the magic disappears.
This guy is the CEO of Flock
He takes pictures of you and hands them over to the cops
But, he doesn’t want you to know what he looks like
PLEASE do NOT share his photo!
This is Garrett Langley, the CEO of Flock Surveillance Cameras.
Please DO NOT REPOST HIS IMAGE, because while his company wants to photograph you wherever you go,... and digitally store everything you do,... they themselves do not want to be photographed,... because they value their privacy.
On a more serious note my buddy Nuke (who you may know as the voice of Rodney, Mr. Hippo and quite a few other characters in Frickbear's 3) is in a tough spot at the moment and is at risk of being evicted, if anyone is willing to help him out it would be greatly appreciated!
🚨NEW from @AP: ICE is now electronically "disappearing" people in the agency's custody who have final orders of removal.
As of last week, anyone jailed by ICE with a final order of removal will NOT appear in the Online Detainee Locator System, making them effectively vanish.
No, we're rejecting Ai. Gen AI (including coding) literally cannot exist without stealing. It's not affordable for them to pay for the rights. The amount of data needed to be useful is too vast. Fuck AI. It's not even speeding up game development time so that argument is ignorant
Conspiring to deny a service to someone who paid for it, is a crime, its fraud, its theft. Its like a Reverse Dine-and-Dash, but for healthcare. If I paid for a bagel and you refused to give me such bagel, then you stole my money. Its that simple.
