I wonder when people will realize that "Show don´t tell" is a rule/guideline for movies. It has no business being implemented within the framework of written fiction, lol.
"Show don't tell" is why debut novelists devote entire chapters to making a sandwich. The sandwich was not a metaphor. Nothing happened to the sandwich. The sandwich did not contain clues. Just tell me about the sandwich and get on with the story.
Vibecoder: Hey, I´ve oneshot this amazing project! Programming is solved!
User: Cool! Is it usable in an actual working environment? Do you have plans for long term maintenance and support?
Vibecoder: Nope! Nope! And Nope!
EVERY! SINGLE! TIME!
I wanted to show how janky the AI slop is of the FilmCraft software.
I wanted to set the stage for how bad it is, and how little care there has actually been in implementing this tool, and most definitely the entire Craft suite too.
It's all AI slop that does not even work.
There is no advice. Society is fundamentally broken and you can´t expect honest individuals to thrive in a perverted system. I mean, you can profit from this broken state, but you have to become a psychopath first. And then, when everyone turns to psychopathy, we´ll have a slum.
In hindsight it´s kind of crazy how traditionalists have been branded as the brutish grok brained radicals of the church. Trads have a very nuanced understanding of church hierarchy, while Non traditionalist are basically like: "Pope is bossman! What bossman says is true!"
Right wing catholics will purity spiral if you disagree with the pope even once and tell you to leave the church if you hate him so much, meanwhile left wing catholics disagree with 90% of church teachings and stubbornly remain anyway and slowly take over.
This pattern is COMMON
Advice like this is basically the male equivalent of women telling other women to cut their hair short. Cruel intrasexual competition. It´s harsh out there and everyone tries to fuck you over, especially the old ones. You can´t trust nobody.
Attention Young Men:
I am surrounded by 20 year old girls in my life that are smart, capable, hard working and cute. Nobody is dating them. Not sure what the deal is, but I don’t get it.
Step 1: Stop playing video games
Step 2: Head to great clips and get that lettuce cleaned up
Step 3: Hit a shower (when dating hygiene is critical)
Step 4: Go clean your car
Step 5: Sign up for a yoga class
Step 6: Go to the yoga class
Step 7: Ask a cute for her phone number at yoga class (yes you can meet girls IRL and not just on the apps - 10/10 the Dirt Dog highly recommends)
Step 8: Follow up within 2 days with a phone call and ask them out for this coming weekend Friday or Saturday night.
Step 9: IMPORTANT - come up with a good game plane for date night. Get a dinner reservation, get an activity planned. Let them know in advance what you are doing so they can dress appropriately. I know you are gunna roll off the couch and head to date night, but they are not. They are going to stress about what to wear and call at least 6 different people on FaceTime to ask their opinion.
Step 10: I highly recommend you bring flowers to the door step. I’m not covering that you go to the doorstep, because if you don’t do that you have no hope here. Women want men to date them. You don’t need to break the bank on flowers. Head to Trader Joe’s. Grab 2 different kinds of flowers. If you don’t know what matches find the closest looking lady to your mom at TJ’s and ask her. Wrap the 2 flowers into 1 bouquet with paper. Bonus Points you can cut open a TJ bag and use that as the paper.
Step 11: Be a gentleman on the date. She isn’t there to hear your life story. Ask her about her. For every 1 question you answer, ask her 3. Open Doors, pay for the meal, be polite.
Provided you follow most of this guideline you are highly likely to get yourself an opportunity for date number 2.
Keep going until you find someone that you can’t imagine not being around all the time. That’s when you have found a good one for you.
My life is complete with my wife as my companion. I wish you the same fortune in life. Happy Hunting.
@_AutumnQueen@WiltBamKobe420@IceTrainerBen Yeah, you´re right. A random guy murdering an innocent person is a thousand times worse than the government lawfully executing a heinous criminal. You definitely can´t compare those two events.
This is insane. claude is not a person with a consciousness nor even an animal. It´s an LLM. You can´t be cruel to a stupid computer program. These people have turned into a weird and creepy cult.
As Christa Pike, a woman who tortured a girl to death and took a piece of her victim’s skull as a trophy, receives life saving medical treatment following a botched execution, keep something in mind: many states in this country will not give medical treatment to a baby who survives abortion. In fact several states have specifically repealed laws requiring treatment for infants born alive after an abortion. And every single mainstream Democrat in the country opposes any law to protect infants who survive abortions. So this condemned murderer, who earned her execution through her own choices, is getting more humane treatment than infant children who were given a death sentence through no fault of their own. And every Democrat — every single one, no exceptions — empathizes far more with this murderer than with those babies.
The people who fanatically celebrated Charlie Kirks murder are equally fanatically opposed to the death penalty. So I don´t think that the support of death penalty has anything to do with bloodlust.
@HitagiHugger Giving the players freedom which leads to a certain kind of chaos can be a conscious decision. Also, I have seen linear games, where everything was just haphazardly designed and placed and then there is Elden Ring, where every setpiece is basically a highly curated painting.
Exploration is an important core mechanic of gameplay. And in this Open World games, especially well made ones like Elden Ring, excell. But I guess, a lot of people think, that you´re only playing the game when you´re shooting or hitting something.
One interesting aspect of AI, which never gets talked about, is the gambling function inherent in this technology – which probably makes it so alluring. AI basically combines the illusion of total control with the hyperaddictive excitement of randomness and chance.
