So many authors agonise over the first line of their novel, but hand their blurb over to a copywriter because they don't know how to write one. This means the first thing a reader reads won't be your work. It's time to change that!

Saw a writer break down the cost of editing by dividing the full price by the amount of pages that can be done in an hour. Ex-- $4k / (300 page MS / 5 pages an hour) = approx $66 an hour pay to the editor.

I'm so excited to tell you why this is completely inaccurate.
