It’s brilliant, sad, funny & a book that just gives you a great big hug. A great depiction of the joy and wonder kids can bring to dark days. You know where it’s going yet are desperately urging Frank & Red on to their endgame. Loved it! @mattcoyney

Today I went back to work after a challenging 2 month recovery from meningitis. It was such a joy to be back.

My goal this term is to try to lead with positivity, and to make sure my life outside of the school gates is rich and fulfilling.

I’m grateful for all I have today.

@_MissieBee I’m 240 pages in and it’s constantly making me hungry 😂 I’m finding it quite slow, some interesting perspectives on the role and view of women but it’s not drawing me in and making me desperate to keep reading.

@Headteacherchat We’ve moved from Spelling Shed to Superhero Spelling by @MonsterPhonics , we use their phonics scheme in EYFS & KS1 so we wanted some continuity now that our first cohort on that scheme have moved up into Y3. Teachers really like it, kids are doing well, a welcome change.
