I am truly gutted that Jeweled Lotus was banned by the @mtgcommander. I have met literally thousands of players who LOVE this card and who truly treasure it in their EDH deck. It's unfair to do it after 4 years & now it's unplayable anywhere.

@wizards_magic Nope. Was going to buy heavy as I Love horror, but will only be buying base version of a couple cards for the commander decks I don't take apart and sell. The money I lost on the bans I'll earn back from not buying product.

@TolarianCollege @wizards_magic I'm sure that the RC are great people individually but today's banning is a prime reason for @wizards_magic to take over commander and let the @mtgcommander know it's no longer wanted or needed.

@TolarianCollege @seraph_six I lost over a grand on my collection from today's banning but think of the money I'll save not buying @wizards_magic next marquee product built on the back of a selection of chase cards like Commander Masters was. I play(ed?) commander because of card pool stability.

@bashmcalister And the future impact with the loss of confidence in buying sets for chase cards, like Crypt and Jeweled Lotus have been numerous times. @wizards_magic needs to understand THIS will hurt their long term profitability because I'm not going to buy premium packs anymore.

@PleasantKenobi The short-term money lost right now sucks, but it's the long-term confidence in buying any type of products with Marquee cards. Three of those cards were used to sell sets, and we're Chase cards. Wizards would be stupid to let this stand as it will hurt their bottom line
