The inauguration of 75 CM Shri Schools with 7000+ AI powered, smartboard enabled classrooms, in Delhi yesterday, reflected a powerful commitment to transforming government school education.

For me, this day came as a personally meaningful milestone. Entrusted with the responsibility of creating a blended library in this school by Madam Director Education, I spent the last few months engaged in designing, building and monitoring tasks, sourcing new age reading materials, & more recently, training students to employ digital devices in the most effective ways.

All the smartboard enabled schools connected with us online in the library & Hon'ble Shri Dharmendra Pradhan ji, Union Minister of Education, Hon'ble Smt. Rekha Gupta ji, Chief Minister,Delhi, and Hon'ble Sh. Ashish Sood ji, Education Minister, Delhi, along with Worthy Director Education, Ms. Veditha Reddy ji interacted with students from all over the city from this space.

The inauguration of this library brought with it several moments that will remain etched in my memory but the one I document here as a favourite forever is when childlike joy replaced hierarchy and all the respected Ministers sat on the library floor to read books with us.

It was deeply moving to see Hon'ble Madam Chief Minister reveal her warm, playful side when she offered to pick the first book to read with us. Hon'ble Union Minister sir & Education Minister sir followed suit & engaged with the books in the library and with the students. This humility, simplicity, this kind of authentic engagement with learners will remain a lesson in all these qualities for all of us present.

The encouragement and appreciation that this library received from both state and national leadership and from Madam Director Education has strengthened my resolve and my confidence to build many more such spaces. Creating libraries and reading spaces in government schools is not just about books. To me, it is about opening doors of imagination, possibility and most importantly, dignity. In pursuit of that, one dream a day, I live.

As part of the National Award Ceremony of School Challenge��TOFEI 2025 and Launch of the #NashaMuktVidyalaya Three-YearAction Plan, an engaging panel discussion was organised on “Nurturing Resilient and Empowered Youth: Mental Health Promotion and Tobacco & Drug-Free Campuses”.

The discussion was moderated by Ms.Anusree Raha, Deputy Secretary, DoSEL and featured eminent panelists Dr. RajeshSagar, Head,Department of Psychiatry,AIIMS, Dr.Anjali Chhabra, Additional Director,CBSE and Shri Nikhil Kant, Deputy Director, AICTE.
The session emphasised the importance of mental well-being, preventive education and institutional support systems in creating safe, inclusive and substance-free educational environments for students across the country. It also highlighted the crucial role of teachers and parents in empathetically acknowledging students’ concerns, identifying early signs of mental health issues and appropriately handling such situations with care, sensitivity and support.

The declaration of the Central Board of Secondary Education (@cbseindia29) Class 10 Board Examination results marks a significant moment for students across the country. Those who have succeeded deserve commendation for their hard work, discipline and perseverance in reaching this milestone.

At the same time, it is important to recognise that a single examination does not define one’s potential. Students who may not have achieved their expected results should view this as an opportunity for learning, to reassess, reflect and move forward with renewed determination.

Education is a continuous journey of learning, and with sustained effort, resilience and clarity of purpose, every student has the capacity to succeed. Best wishes to all for their future endeavours.
