I live in Toronto. Self-anchored. RAWLL (RAW-all emotion-coaster) creatorship. This is my tweet cottage. ๐ก My single decoration is a crystal emoji ball ๐ฎ
It is an astonishing AI software and its CEO did in his Keynote Main that "Salesforce has ZERO data retention. Your data is your data."
That is what he said. You can research your own experience of AI.
I finished watching the entire Salesforce AI presentation and viewed their software screenshots so I possess a solid understanding now of how it functions, who is using it and the industries surrounding AI's integration.
I did not realize until recently that much HR hiring online already uses AI on their website and HR Chat Agents.
You don't realize that you are already using it, often without consent and full AI understanding.
Honestly, none of it is a writing nor designing role.
Oh, and I wanted to see and understand their Salesforce AI layers.
I think this is THE AI software, based on what I have seen so far...Oh, maybe Oracle...
Let me finish watching the rest of the Keynote; I have an hour left.
If you click through my Saleforce Retweet it opens to their filmed Keynote video. That's a big crowdโ10 000, the CEO said. Wow.
Watching...๐ฐ๐ป
I wanted to hear Salesforce CEO speech about his company and what it means to him and to us...without the "AI apocalypse" yelling.
That's what I do as a writer and communicator...and marketer. ๐ฐ ๐ป
I hear ya. I'm listening. I don't, um, really think that I need all that. Hmm.
Something I am researchingโSalesforceโbecause I said I want to study it but do I need it?
I could do...but I have competing creative goals...๐ญ โ๏ธ
The Salesforce software that I used at Toyota Canada, years ago, was a simple CRM database but advanced software for the time.
As a marketer, I ask myself, "What do I really need?"
Customers only buy what they need. A want is a higher-level premium need.
Also, you have pay for Salesforce.
It's luxury software that only a few can afford unless there are cost differentiations per business group(s).
They did say non-profits in the U.S. use it. They stood up so there you go.
Most things I do are simple and don't require AI SaaS but I'm open, when need be.
As far as acting, a performance is real and should be real, whatever that means to you. Keep in mind, our film industries has used SFX for decades. AI camps on that border.
Everyb๐ฐnny can make their own AI decision in their lives and work but most days, I ask myself, "Do I really need all that?"
I don't want to be analog but sometimes, well, I don't know...we'll see.
I don't hate AI but I am cautious.
I am watching this AI Salesforce Keynote so that I can see what it does and how it works, even though it's likely beyond what I need as a creative marketing professional.
Yes, I heard Joeโฃ๏ธ yell about the AI apocalypse. I need to grok how it works for me or notโit's astonishing.
Tweet correction:
They did say "St. George" on the train announcements but the TTC website said the Line 1 train closure was from St. Clair to College Station.
Hey, I meandered downtown for a short while to the Eaton Centre...to discover that our Line 1 has no subway from College Station to St. George around the U.
I did arrive. The trip was fairly steady early but I arrived.
College Station is fun with no train, meeting shuttles.
There is road construction along Yonge Street south of Bloor. Parts of Yonge St. blocks are being developed or demolished. New condos and/mixed retail spaces will be rising.
