@WALKEDH0ME@CaitlinClark22 Caitlin should be watching these finals and knows who needs to not be next to her. Sad but the path has been laid out this year and is clear as terrible quality as it has been. Teams with better shotmaking talent could be taking a bit of GSV blueprint
@tennispages@realdevdp_ We could go back and forth on this forever. I don’t think Iga’s peak is unequivocally the highest but couldn’t we just cancel out any of Iga’s losses against top 10 bc she hasn’t had her 2024 clay serve/SW19 2025 serve outside of those tournaments. That’s j not how this works
@realdevdp_ and struggling to take chances/close against top 10 and getting unlucky. But I still question her ability to deal with someone peaking/competing well on the other side of the net
@realdevdp_ Why do we never see this peak anymore against elite players. I’m higher on her than a lot of ppl are nowadays but she hasn’t had the ability to bring her best against the best for a while. This is Rybakina esque 24-25 for her but struggling with peaking mid tier players instead
@Archaicmind3000@realdevdp_ Why was Mertens able to comprehensively outhit her then? Yeah she missed easy balls but she had to go for more bc she didn’t bother Elise whereas Mertens couldn’t handle Qinwen’s depth of shot. I think Iga’s groundstrokes have degraded a lot. Roig has messed with her bh too.
@NOVAxRANGERx I agree but that’s how it usually is in the differences between regular season vs playoffs. You have to know she’d show flashes of brilliance and then get them all excited and then disappoint again. You can’t really be mad at stans bro like who cares
@CeaseOV@Underdog This woman played for UConn and Geno Autiemma and Cheryl Reeve. Two of the most winningest coaches in their respective sports. And you’re comparing Caitlin to her. Ok
