Here’s a key: nobody can give you everything you need. Nobody can keep you fixed. Only God can give you what you need. He’ll use people, but people are limited.

You only have so much emotional energy each day. It’s not an unlimited supply. It takes a lot of energy to get upset, to live offended, to think about what they said, to try to straighten them out. That’s energy you need for your dreams, to pursue your goals, to enjoy your family. Don’t spend it on things that don’t matter.
Isaiah said, “God is longing to be good to people who are looking for His goodness.” Are you looking for God’s goodness? Are you expecting favor, believing to rise higher? You don’t have to figure out how it’s going to happen; all you have to do is believe. God satisfies, not the doubting soul, the negative soul, the passive soul. He satisfies the thirsty soul with good things.
In the middle of all of Job’s troubles, when his whole world fell apart, he said, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.” I would rather die in faith, trusting, believing, thanking God for His goodness, then die bitter and complaining about the results.
When you compliment yourself, you’re complimenting the God who made you. You’re saying, “God, I thank You for who I am: blessed, strong talented, worthy, victorious.” That’s giving praise to God.
One day, we’ll look back and say, “Look what the Lord has done. Look at how He sustained my family in that tough time, look at how He healed me from that sickness, look at how He set me free from addiction, how He blessed me.” If it weren’t for His goodness, His favor, His mercy, you wouldn’t be able to withstand what’s trying to stop you.
Don't depend on people to make you worthy. That’s putting your self-worth, your mood, into their hands. Put it in God’s hands. Go to Him to get your value, your approval.

Have you lost your thirst because you’ve quit stretching your faith, you’ve quit believing to rise higher, to overcome what’s holding you back? My prayer is, “God, make us thirsty again, thirsty to know You in a greater way, thirsty to rise out of addictions, defeat, mediocrity, thirsty to set new levels, thirsty to become all that You created us to be.”
If you’re depending on a person, it’s not only going to frustrate you, but it’s a lot of pressure on them. That’s a burden they can’t carry. You’re trying to get from them what only God can give. The sooner you start encouraging yourself, declaring what God says about you, the better off you’ll be.
You have enough people on the outside trying to push you down, limit your potential, lessen your value. Don't put yourself down. Nobody should be more for you than you. That’s being responsible with the gift God has given you. Learn to celebrate who God made you to be.
The enemy would love for you to feel unworthy when, in fact, you’re a masterpiece. The Creator of the universe applauded you. He said you are very good. Why are you depending on people to tell you that you’re good, you’re talented? You’re trying to get from them what God has already given you.
It looks like a bad break, a disappointment, but really it’s a necessary ending. It’s God closing a door because He’s about to open a much bigger door. He’s going to take you where you’ve never imagined. You haven't seen, heard or imagined what He has in your future.

God has never failed in the past and He’s not going to start with you. Stay in faith and stay open. It may not happen your way or on your timetable, but God is true to His word.
Start every morning thanking God for what He promised over your life. “Father, thank You that You promised the path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter. You promised no good thing will You withhold because I walk uprightly. You Promised You would do exceeding, abundantly above and beyond what I can imagine.”
God is looking for people who won’t get talked out of their dreams, people who aren’t moved by how big the challenge is. The reason God is asking you to do something that’s beyond your ability is because He’s about to show you His favor like you’ve never seen.
Isaiah said to put God in remembrance of His promises. When we face difficulties, one of the best things we can do is find a promise in the Scripture and remind God what He said about us. “God, You promised I would lend and not borrow. You promised my children will be mighty in the land. You promised with long life, You will satisfy me.”
You have to accept that God changes the season. It’s a necessary ending. You have to move forward into new relationships, new opportunities, new growth.

Are you fighting endings, bitter over what God stopped, discouraged over what didn’t last? What if you knew that it had to happen, that even though it felt like a bad break, it was God leading you into the fullness of your destiny.
God brings people in and moves people out. Quit being discouraged over who walked away, who wouldn’t stay. If they left you, you didn’t need them. If they walked away, let them go. God has new relationships, new opportunities.
