#Watch | Fresh off leading a high-decibel protest over the NEET paper leaks, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke dismissed exiled Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen’s comment drawing a parallel between the CJP’s Delhi protest against exam irregularities and the 2024 stir that ousted Sheikh Hasina’s Awami League regime. “Protests in Bangladesh, Nepal are being used to defame us; we are different,” he asserted.

Yes the Mahabharata is owned by nobody; but with the enduring global asymmetry cannot be brushed aside. It is insensitive to say that no body has made anything with Mahabharat and only a white person can do something with it.
For those upset by this, here are two more of my views:
The Mahabharata is owned by nobody. It is a masterpiece of world literature and available to everyone to retell.
There's not been a really good Mahabharata film or movie... at least, not yet. #Mahabharata
My two-cents after seeing Nolan's #Odyssey, which trades on moral ambiguity --
Somebody get that director a copy of the #Mahabharata and a massive budget. He'll never look back.
आज की रात बहुत गर्म हवा चलती है
आज की रात न फ़ुट-पाथ पे नींद आएगी
सब उठो, मैं भी उठूँ तुम भी उठो, तुम भी उठो

@dc_sivasagar there’s no electricity near Joysagar for the last 4 days, my house is under water. When will the administration wake up and provide support to the affected people. @CMOfficeAssam
Arunachal Pradesh has almost lost its unique opportunity to embrace English and advance its citizens and instead chosen Hindi to perpetually stay under the North Indian centre. Only and only English can pull people out of generational poverty and oppression.
I always wonder if ‘abhi le Baghdad’ translates to ‘On to Baghdad’ as a call to march or its a sarcastic ‘le, abhi le Baghdad, after the siege of Kut. If it’s the latter shouldn’t it be , here, take Baghdad @GhoshAmitav
Perhaps the greatest violence is that political prisoners stop being seen as people. They become symbols to celebrate, defend, or condemn, while their fears and ordinary humanity disappear from view. We forget that they are not just heroes or images hanging on Tihar’s walls but are living, breathing, struggling human beings still inside those very walls. They shouldn’t have to remind people that they are human.
A must read interview!
Nehru bashing by followers of Hindutva hasn't worked and will also not work in future . Deal with it .
Nehru wasn't just India's leader ,he was a towering world statesman.
Even Winston Churchill, after years of political rivalry, wrote to him in 1955: "One of the most agreeable memories of my last years in office is our association... Yours is indeed a heavy burden... shaping the destiny of your many millions of countrymen." And signed off with: 'The Light of Asia!"
Great leaders are recognized by substance & respect from giants, not by hugs or handshakes.
