Had a pitch with a top US VC yesterday. It was going well until we hit the competition slide—turns out they invested $500M in our competitor’s seed round. The dynamic shifted; I ended up asking them questions instead. Wrapped up on a good note, not every fund is your fund.

Met a VC today. Solid until they obsessed over 5yr revenue projections. Pro tip: If you're investing in deep tech, you're betting on breakthrough innovation, not spreadsheet dreams. VCs who get it focus on the problems we're solving, not imaginary numbers
