i wake up, i cry over spilt milk, put all of my eggs in one basket, bite off more than i can chew, jump the gun, fly off the handle and then die on that hill
Everyone is posting the exact same launch photo today, so I'll talk about what’s actually cool about Vikram-1 that geeks me out.
First, the entire rocket is carbon composite, even the motor casings. Most launch vehicles still rely on aluminum and steel. Carbon fiber is incredibly light and strong, but it’s a total nightmare to engineer, which is why almost nobody builds a fully composite rocket. Skyroot nailed it on their very first try.
Second, the upper stage engine is entirely 3D printed; it completely changes the game for production. Instead of waiting months for hundreds of machined parts, they can print a finished engine in days at half the weight. That is the reason a monthly launch cadence is even on the table.
Plus, that upper stage can restart mid-flight. That means a single launch can drop different satellites into totally different orbits, which is exactly what small-sat companies pay a premium for.
But the biggest deal is the strategic angle. Because it uses solid fuel, you can keep the rocket ready to go and launch on short notice without needing a massive launchpad. Right now, that’s just a great commercial selling point. In a few years, it becomes a massive national asset - the ability to replace a satellite in days if you need to.
This is a huge moment for Indian engineering. Massive congrats to Pawan, Bharath, and the entire Skyroot team.
ORBIT ACHIEVED. 🚀
Vikram-1 Test Flight-1 has reached orbit. India's first privately developed orbital rocket has completed its final burn and injected its payloads into a ~450 km orbit, making India the third country in the world with private orbital launch capability.
History is made. 🇮🇳

Tukaram Mundhe is an example of what happens when bureuacracy actually does their job but unfortunately most babus are just there to make money for themselves and the angutha chaap netas who control their postings.
I'm finally reading Dune. This quote, which is in the first few pages, hits hard:
"Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them."
Out of 21 hearings in my case, Judge was absent in 10. Why

Things Gulshan Pahuja said to get 6 months in Jail
🚨 SHOCKING! YouTuber Gulshan Pahuja has been sentenced to 6 months jail by Delhi HC for calling the judiciary "TAANASHAHI" & "MANMARZI" (Dictatorship & arbitrary rule) 🤯
He had openly said he expects "no justice" from the Indian judicial system.
He ran the channel “Fight 4 Judicial Reforms".
If even basic criticism of the judiciary lands you in jail, then let’s be honest, Rest in Peace, Free Speech in India.

1. Govt refuses to divulge the ARAI report that studied the effects of E20 petrol on Indian vehicles. An RTI seeking the same was filed by Mr. Nachiket Deshpande.
2. Over 80 % of petrol powered vehicles - both cars and two wheelers - running on Indian roads are NOT compliant with E20 petrol. Compliance here refers to both material and full compliance!
3. If there's nothing to hide, why not reveal the effects of E20 petrol on older vehicles?
4. If there are indeed adverse effects caused by E20 petrol - as suspected and experienced by many - why are there no separate nozzles at petrol bunks for non-E20 petrol?
5. If ARAI has found out that E20 petrol causes adverse effects on specific brands of vehicles, is it not the right of vehicle owners to know this, and be able to access non-E20 fuel?
Any answers Mr. @HardeepSPuri@nitin_gadkari@PetroleumMin ?

Indian Economy is now a race to the bottom.
1) To win election you need to give freebies
2) To give freebies you need to divert capital from long-term plans. And, tax people more.
3) No long-term planning= poor growth.
Poor growth = increases the need for freebies.
We are basically in a death loop.
Cheese from India makes its mark globally…
India made an impressive debut at the Mundial do Queijo do Brasil 2026, which is a vibrant international competition for cheese and dairy products. Four Indian products won medals, including 1 Super Gold, 2 Golds and 1 Silver.
The Super Gold was won by Eleftheria Gulmarg (Brie Style), the Golds were won by Yak Churpi-Soft, Nordic Farm, Leh, Ladakh and Eleftheria Brunost (Whey Cheese) while the Silver was won by Eleftheria Kaali Miri (Belper Knolle Style). Congratulations to Mausam Narang and Thenlay Nurboo.
Such successes strengthen India’s artisanal dairy sector on the world stage.
My "Roman Empire is the realization that my life is a lottery win. Somewhere in Sudan, Pålestine, iran, Afghanistan, Iraq or Congo, there is a boy smarter than me. He is more disciplined, more resilient, and holds more potential in his single finger than I do in my entire career.
The only difference? I am siting in a train and he is sting in the rubble of his dreams.
My "bad days" are his wildest dreams.
My "burnout" is a luxury he can't afford because his only job is staying alive.
It's geographical luck and it's a haunting injustice that we all refuse to acknowledge and look away
I finally discovered why they are doing this! The new Kindle devices have ads in them, which you have to pay extra to remove them. I’m assuming they couldn’t put ads on the old Kindles. Sooner or later the ads will play every other page! We live in corporate hell now!
