lazy

just here cause I’m bored

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@Maxtheairbnbguy The only empowering moment I ever really had dating was when a woman told me she didn’t really want to break up with me but did it so I’d “fight for her”.

Cue the shocked pikachu face when I said “I know”

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@Malachi108 @runDEVINrun God forbid a man falls in love with you for your personality, right? Who would want someone who spends a lot of time around you to think “wow, this person is awesome”

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@Yammer33 @SecondA16110022 @godspeed_aflame It’s flirting, it’s building sexual tension, it’s learning how to break down a woman’s boundaries in a very specific way. It’s being able to create interest.

No matter how good of a conversationalist you are, you’re nowhere if you can’t do this.

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@Fed0123 God forbid someone who spends a lot of time around you actually likes you for your personality

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@suchnerve For a lot of guys I know it was asking a girl out and getting the flying monkeys (aka her friends) sent after you for having the audacity to do so

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@tealavocado @b777tx If youre going on dates in the talking stage than what in the world is defined as the talking stage? Isn’t this the stage…before you go on dates, where you know…you’re just taking?

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@_nomadic_soul @Pat_Stedman @GiffLasta @beherleader The bedroom is dead. I wouldn’t be too worried about the difference between zero desire and negative desire in that situation

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@WhoisMonia The woman is never interested and then will get mad because it meant the whole friendship was fake and it could never possibly be that you fell for her from spending time with her and realizing how great she is.

If you actually value the friendship, it’s not with the risk to ask

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@iidiot_anii Yeah I agree with you. I’m not wasting my time on a 6 week talking stage only to find out the other person never wants to meet. Until we’re planning in person meetups, I’m not cutting others off that I’m talking to.

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@Adasu_d_gr8 The one thing I quickly figured out about marrying a church girl is that a woman who can wait till marriage to have sex, can go through marriage without having sex.

Calling it a dead bedroom would imply that bedroom ever lived which would be a lie.

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@lizisamused Which, if all you want is something short-term, you do you, but when we watch women who we like and who say they want something serious/long-term go for guys like this, its very frustrating. And I think it’s a lot of the frustration you see from a lot of men in your comments

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@lizisamused I think for a lot of men that want long-term success, this is where a lot of frustration comes in.

Men who know they could be good partners go without because they can’t generate that initial excitement/interest like this guy but we can clearly see that this guy is not great.

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@JamieBonkiewicz Teachers can’t convince a kid to read more than one paragraph without complaining any more and people think they’re out there changing kids’ genders? The teacher can’t get your son to shut up but can convince him to become a girl? Idiotic thinking

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@evanwch @buttonslives This has honestly been my experience. More women have told me that asking for consent was a turnoff and told me “you just need to go for it” than appreciated the actual asking for consent.

On more than one occasion they said that asking “is not manly”

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@TheXMatriarch @JThiel It’s one reason I struggled so much in dating. I grew up learning that women would be attracted to me if I was a good and confident person and that simply wasn’t true. I never actually learned how to build attraction so for me dating sucked.

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@TheXMatriarch @JThiel Many young men are told that if you are a good guy and respectful, girls will like you. So they become good and respectful and then learn that women don’t respond to that and become frustrated. They never develop an edge or a mystery and women simply aren’t attracted to them

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@jujubenby @taraliyah No one wants that. People want someone who wants to have sec with them.

I don’t like owe/duty sex. I want a wife who wants to have sex with me. But apparently many women don’t see wanting to have sex with their husbands as part of the deal

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@Sbrannan0604 @JoeLongBalls Most people in the 1950s weren’t walking around with headphones on and their heads buried in their phones.

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@TriScaleArt @caitlin_mmm I agree that men should learn to handle rejection by should anyone care if she reconsiders? She likes me because I handle getting shot down well? Thats not something I’d put high on my list of reasons I’d want someone to be with me.

[lazy @BoredAndscared]

@CourtneyLC80 My dating experience would disagree with this. Telling women you wanted a relationship was seen as coming on too strong. “Why are you so serious, take it casual”

I hope for the serious guys that you’re right that this is changing
