@ShirouLight They said the same about Splatoon 3 and still released it in September. So as far as Nintendo is concerned, at least, September counts as summer. (Technically Summer doesn’t end until late September anyway)

@EmilleMaiki This is kinda the issue I find with it. In that, it’s amateur RP with some ppl far more into it than others. Add too many days, and the truly dedicated will dominate the server. This is kinda why the railroading exists too unfortunately, to bridge the skill gap.

@Kalanyr Going forward, I think they might settle on a single free day perhaps. But increasing it past a week feels like it’ll burn them out. Some people will want to stream on most days, etc etc. I did hear suggestions that the RPG mechanics could be toned down. Less grinding more RP.

@Bittingvtubers2 I am curious about one thing though. Raora’s story felt like it should carry into next season, no? I don’t think she needs closure (ERB didn’t strive for it either) since she doesn’t even have her memories back.

@JimT_KFP And we already knew there was gonna be a “purification ceremony” event on the last day anyway, so it was more of a ticking time bomb if you wanted to remain evil past that. That said, I don’t think she’s given up, she still ended the season with evil intent.

@JimT_KFP Thing with that is, nobody had any way of knowing how long they would need because this isn’t written out beforehand. In a way, it’s also on the talents to plan their activities a little more, but it feels like an impossible development to predict.

@TateAniki @hololive_En I think a lot of em carry their stories very fluidly so they could just be picked up in some shape or form. Even in S2, advent were suddenly made villains at the end without prior knowledge things had to shift around leading into S3. Today, only shiori mainly seemed ticked off.

@TateAniki @Andles192339 @hololive_En I’m also fairly disappointed with how Shiori’s story played out, but this is also the nature of the beast. This is the flaw of EnReco as a whole, but it’s also a tacit reminder that it’s supposed to be amateur RP.

@Andles192339 @hololive_En I get the sense that a lot of these issues would be resolved if they were all informed of everything ahead of time. But that creates its own issues when it’s just supposed to be light hearted RP. I mean, they’re mostly laypeople when it comes to doing this.
