Going from three rate-up guarantees in 20 steps to one guarantee is vile. In my opinion, all they needed to do (at the bare minimum) was make the TYBW Calamity tie-in banner format the norm, where you have a featured step at 5, then make step 10 a "1 shown character guaranteed" and still give coins. This way by step 20 you're guaranteed to get both units, same as before (even if its a bit worse)

Removing step bonuses entirely feels like stripping the soul of BBS. Back in the day, that step 6 guaranteed featured was a highlight of the awful banners and even now the featured steps are exciting. The guarantee being all or nothing now just lowers the banner value and will to summon.

Not even mentioning the alternate attribute units are not premium so we don't know how else we'll acquire them, and there being no other tybw featured units makes it much less exciting / valuable to pull.
