Stuffs getting bad again and I'm currently waiting on yet another ambulance so I'm typing fast and my thoughts are all over the place but I fear an update is needed
I wrote the quoted tweet when I had just been discharged from hospital - since then I had been readmitted for another few weeks as everything else improved, but my legs got significantly worse, and to top it off, the pain & weakness was spreading upwards - by the time I was readmitted, almost my entire torso was numb and I had almost 0 mobility from the waist down.
They did every test under the sun and couldn't come up with anything other than nutrient deficiencies, so called for a second opinion from a specialist team from a big city hospital and yesterday I was able to come home.
Just over 24 hours later, I'm being urgently readmitted and in line for treatment for a very serious autoimmune condition. I don't know how long I'll be in hospital for, it could be anywhere from a few weeks to upwards of a year.
To be quite honest I'm fucking terrified, I'm amazed I got discharged yesterday. I very easily could have died if it weren't for the second opinion coming in so quickly. I have no idea what my future will look like irl at the minute, let alone the future of Borky.
I hope one day I'll be able to come back to being Borky again, in the meantime, I love u guys 🥹 don't forget about me!
Please be patient to UK content creators
We are currently being hit with a pretty intense heatwave, meaning we'll probably be working a tad slower, have less energy and may even need to take a break from our PCs to prevent them from overheating
Also none of this "Well we have it hotter over here" bs:
- UK heat is built different
- Most of us don't have ACs since we rarely NEED them for most of the year
- Our houses are built to keep heat in due to how cold our weather can get
- We aren't as used to hot weather given how 80% of the year, UK weather isn't hot
We're not trying to dispute who has it worse/hotter, we just want patience and understanding 🙏
