@TheRedShirtGuy Actually the crater didn’t exist on the maps until later expacs. The image on the right is what the lake always looked like in classic.
Except the right side where the road and keep is - that was still the same as the modern left map
@BaalTheWarlock Him seemingly not grasping the power of words is ironic given how often he espouses his background in theatre and writing.
Also claims to have always liked ‘Jan but I distinctly recall his earliest takes that he doesn’t care for him.
He is death by ego, averse to being wrong.
@Khorgnir@that_kind_oforc They’ll claim it was all a misunderstanding that it wasn’t an internment camp but an intern camp giving thrall work experience to be a better leader
Vicariously keeping up with WoW’s story but lo a dread thought occurred.
This speed running friendship and unity, and steamrolling elements of lore
Hark, turn back for the frail.
What the chance it’s linked to the nonsense of the Jailer’s final line and w/e story they’ve picked
@eonLepidopteran @tentakvlt I’m fairly certain they literally have noted how having this narrative freedom to work on connecting things over multiple expansions was literally going to help them avoid such a thing
the current writing team for WoW seems convinced that azeroth as a setting must be "fixed" by scrubbing away every edge and conflict when that is completely antithetical to the very concept of maintaining an ongoing MMORPG. it is a cannibalistic practice that must be killed ASAP
- Cinematic is… ok, but should’ve focus more on the victory than setting up some future thing. An actual fight would’ve been nice - Windrunners really like firing one arrow then chatting apparently
There were some cool moments or aspects to this Quel’danas Scenario and not to be a downer…
But god I’m over Boy Wonderbread - why is he leading an army, he’s never lead anything? And over literal generals and leaders giving orders
- his dialogue was also… grimace inducing
- neat for our allies to show up, should’ve happened sooner for better impact
- Blizz needs to add more appearances to npcs in these highly populated moments, the repeats just stick out badly (may just be me, I know)
