TRILLION-DOLLAR INSTITUTIONS PLAN TO EMBRACE SPOT BITCOIN ETFS BY JUNE'S END - BITWISE

- Institutions managing 'trillions of dollars in assets' are expected to enter the spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) arena by the conclusion of June, according to Crypto-native asset manager Bitwise.

- Large corporations, major wirehouses, and institutional consultants are engaging in "serious due diligence" discussions with Bitwise, expressing a keen interest in amplifying their exposure to Bitcoin in the upcoming months.

- Bitwise's proactive engagement has also revealed a parallel surge in interest from individual retail investors, family offices, hedge funds, and venture capital firms.

- While Bitcoin ETFs have already witnessed $8.89 billion in net inflows since their launch, Bitwise foresees a notable acceleration in inflows.

- The 10 approved spot Bitcoin ETF products are expected to attract heightened attention in the second half of the year, as per Bitwise chief investment officer Matt Hougan.
