Florida Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is reportedly stepping down after reports of a months-long affair with one of her female staffers finally blew up.

“The Congresswoman asks for privacy at this time while she and her husband work out an amicable end to their marriage,” said DNC Spokesman Josephine Barron. “It came as a surprise to both of them that Ms. Wasserman-Schultz would fall in love with a woman.”

Sources on Capitol Hill are saying the only real surprise is how long it took her husband to catch on — because this affair has apparently been going on for months.
