Yes, we have issues at the border. No, these issues aren’t new to the Biden Administration. Yes, more people are attempting to come across the border now than under previous administrations, but the borders aren't more "open" now, except for Biden ending the harsh "remain in Mexico policy" and COVID restrictions expiring.

The problem is that Republicans don’t want to fix the problem. Their goal isn’t to try and solve the issue now. Their goal is to use the issue to make Biden and Democrats look bad. They want to use the border to get Trump elected and then try and fix the problem when Trump is in office. The problem is, they didn’t fix the problem last time Trump was in office, even when they had both chambers of Congress.

It's a powerful device, so I'm posting it twice. :) In a 2017 study, students shut down cell phones, stored them away, and tried to forget about 'em. Silently, the phones fought back. A recent piece I did for @edutopia.
