I grew up attending a Methodist church. Went to a Lutheran Church for a number of years. Enjoyed a really good Presbyterian church.

Converted to a Catholicism a few year back. It’s pretty different on a few issues. Mother Mary was my biggest push. Reverence of the Eucharist.

Overall, the more I learned about Catholicism the more it looks like the fulfillment of the Jewish religion rather than its own new thing.

@normonics In N WI, I only didnt like deep winter months like January and February, and hot, humid August (though August wasn’t that bad with all the lakes).

Here in N Idaho, late July/early August seem to be the only periods I don’t like.

I want a self driving camper van.

Get done with work, and from then on the van is driving me to a nearby National Forest or Park. If need be it drives me through the night while I sleep in back.

By 6 am the next day, the vehicle has been driving for 12 hours, we’ve traveled 700 miles and I’m at a new trailhead.
