A brilliant first half under the Friday night lights with intensity from the very first whistle. David was absolutely essential to our early success, pulling off a couple of crucial saves and then producing a huge 1v1 stop after rushing out bravely to deny their attacker. That moment kept the momentum firmly with us.

Around the 20th minute, Louis thought he had opened the scoring after rounding the keeper and finishing calmly, but the flag went up for offside. It didn��t take long for the breakthrough to come though. Al Moataz produced a great piece of play down the wing before squaring it across for Louis, who made no mistake this time and fired home a superb finish.

We struck again almost immediately. Kai Peters delivered a brilliant ball into the box and Kevin rose high above his man, looping a fantastic header past the keeper. A dominant and exciting first half performance, sharp, clinical and full of quality all over the pitch!
