SLATER SCOOP: Atlanta Falcons James Pearce Jr. will no longer face a charge of aggravated battery on law enforcement.

Sources tell me that prosecutors decided there wasn’t enough evidence on body-cam to charge him with that felony which could have put him in prison for 5 years.

Four other charges were filed:

Resisting an officer with violence, fleeing, stalking, and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon for allegedly crashing his car into his ex girlfriend’s.
