An interesting weekend attending the launch of the Venice Biennale. Brilliant to see the islands of Ireland & their communities presented to an international audience by @Hy_Brasil_Irl & to gain a new awareness of Ireland's links with Nigeria with the fantastic work by @BothandG
The Landscape Rehearsals, @BothandG one of Special projects @la_Biennale on the pre-famine practices of land management, resource equity and settlement we've lost in Ireland but parallels still remain in Nigeria. There was no visual of this cyclical relationship so they made it
their disturbed durations and occurrences resulting from both natural and man-made causes. Jarek is a recipient of the Arts Council of Ireland’s Agility Award and Next Generation Artist Award in Architecture.
He recently completed ‘The Role of the Arts and Humanities in Documenting and Dealing with Climate Change’ offered by Harvard University and funded by the Arts Council which led to his ongoing research on Irish Turloughs –
Kate was nominated onto the AJ100 New Talent List 2021 for her work at Morris + Company and her contributions outside conventional practice. With Alice Clarke, she is a recipient of The Art’s Council of Ireland’s Architecture Bursary Award, and is a registered architect with ARB.

Kate has taught architecture at Cardiff University, TU Dublin and Ravensbourne University London – where she currently teaches in the architecture programmes. Her practice and research interests are situated across architectural scales from the room to the landscape.
Andrew is an Academic Member of the Landscape Institute (AMLI), a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society (FRGS) and a recipient of the Arts Council of Ireland’s Next Generation Artist Award in Architecture.
Andrew is a senior lecturer in the Department of Architecture at Ravensbourne University London where he leads year 2 of the undergraduate programmes. He has previously taught at both TU Dublin and the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL.
Alice has practiced in Dublin and now practices and researches in Zurich. She is a research associate for the Architecture of Territory Chair in ETH Zurich where she also teaches. She was a recipient with Kate Rushe of the Art’s Council of Ireland's Architecture Bursary Award.

Alice graduated from TU Dublin and holds a masters in Urban and Territorial Design from ETH and EPFL. Her work is rooted in understanding the relationship between circularity, landscape, architecture, ecology and the food system from the site to the territory.
