Discord quietly rolled out DAVE end-to-end encryption for voice channels.

No changelog. No warning.

Every third-party voice agent broke overnight. Ours included.

Packets failing CryptoError at the transport layer. Bots went completely deaf.

So we traced the MLS key exchange, patched the decryption layer, and got Opal talking again.

While we were in there, we rebuilt the whole pipeline.
- swapped to an MoE backbone running on proprietary wafer-scale silicon
- restructured prompts with prefix KV-cache
- stripped thousands of dead tokens the model was reading every turn

Result: sub-second voice AI inside Discord. ~500 average end-to-end latency.

Faster than Vapi, Retell, PolyAI, measured with aiewf-eval + our end-to-end transport timing harness (p50/p95).
