@matty_hansolo@sueroberts7 So under utilise the resources we have whilst we build more to an ever expanding sprawl? sounds counterintuitive to me.
It isn’t taking someone’s dream, it’s realising they are currently penalised under the existing system
@matty_hansolo@sueroberts7 Your plan has a long term view which is great however incentivising retirees out of the existing homes that are surplus to their needs would free up available stock far quicker.
Example: in Bendigo almost 15% of population live alone yet the average house size in 3 bedrooms.
@TheEconomist listening to today’s podcast. Per chance is EM picking up where Murdoch is about to depart? There is an opportunity here that is yet to be explored.
Wow this is shady. Elon Musk is funding a PAC that’s running two ads against Kamala Harris with messages that directly contradict each other.
The opposing messages are microtargeted to specific groups of voters, so each see one ad, but neither see both.
This video about republican farmers that had voted for trump & are now voting for Harris is big news. Seems to be getting hidden on this “free speech” site. I tried searching for it & as of now is very hard to find They also went on fox news see other post
@elonmusk Perhaps the man that holds $billions could offer birth incentives? Say $10k US per extra child beyond replacement? Nah make it $20 - chump change for you big fella
@Melair wow imagine nearly all eateries being closed in T4 at dinner time and no cold beer available. No point turning up early if traders can’t be arsed opening due to penalty rates
