@BruinsNetwork I hear you but my issue is there is too much congestion of 4th line type players. They don't need this many and as you said, it will block other prospects from getting a chance. This signing is fine if you also don't have Steeves, eysimmont, kuraly and other similar guys

@Jessemedscience They should move him considering how weak the UFA class is. I like him a lot but signing him long term is not the right move. Unfortunately they are stuck with Elias Lindholm so they need to be careful who they give a 30 year old another long term deal.

@BigBadBsMemes They need to get rid of some of their 4th line players. You can't have kuraly, jeannot, kastelic, Steeves, eysimmont, Reichel on all the team at the same time. It's fine to have 3 of them but that should be it. They are just blocking the way for younger players to step in

I don't understand why so many have issues with taking a chance on a kid with high end tools with an offensive coach the steelers haven't had forever. Probably won't work but they need to take risks at this point

@tsnmike This isn't even comparable. Come on. Pickett was a first rounder with average traits and a relatively low ceiling. Allar may not work out but he has a much higher ceiling.

@Repent1955 @PaulZeise Totally agree. I am not sure how most Steeler fans can't see this. He has a high ceiling and not that long ago, he was being talked about going top 10. Give him a chance with good weapons and Mike McCarthy and it's worth the risk
